This year's fashion moment didn't seem to take place on the runway, instead there would be an announcement made by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard saying that they would be investing all of its shares into an environmental non-profit organization. Designers would also share their views on controversy such as roe vs wade and the war in Ukraine. Gabriella Hearst would do this by producing clothes that convey a meaning, an interview states " the point of my artwork was to represent collective features of women such as non-binary artists and activists" and following this idea she ended up with a partnership with CO2 removal company climeworks.
