Allyson Felix may feel like going into retirement but says that she'll stop at nothing to chase victory
Allyson was a former U.S Olympic athlete and decided to wear a sentimental bodysuit for her last career race, but what was the idea behind this you may ask? She says "i want to be remembered as a fierce competitor and my career is helping me out by securing maternal protections for female athletes who decide to start families in their careers. The idea for wearing the bodysuit was to promote her collaboration with Athleta, she describes it as feeling confident and strong every time she wears it and calls it one of her favourite pieces due to helping her grow as a person. After her last race she decided to put all the competitive winnings behind her in exchange for focusing on herself such as taking yoga classes and doing Pilates; her closing statement being "I obviously love to run, and it will always be a part of me but for anyone who does beats me in running, more power to ya".
