Nathaniel Xavier Fernandez
Nathaniel Xavier Fernandez is a graduate from Anglia Ruskin university within the course film production. I am keen on making films to convey my stories to audiences and have experience within standard film practices. Most of the films I have made in the course have been uploaded onto my youtube channel, where you can view my talents and see the stories I want to show to the world. I am eager to work in the film industry and passionate to show my practices to anyone who is willing to work with me.

What is GOJI LTD Productions?

Based on the popular Dragon ball character Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, GOJI LTD productions is a small independent film company founded by me who is responsible for making all the films I have prominent creative control in. I want to expand my prescene of this company within more films I have a massive creative impact in through the more films i plan to make within the future; as well as being open to collaborate with other people.
Before the passion for film
Before being accepted into university to work in film production, I was focused on working on my video editing skills to post onto my youtube channel. Most of the videos involve franchise montages linked with the music I enjoy but I still try and focus on how the music I chose, can reflect the franchise I'm focusing on. One of my greatest successes is based on the animated movie Transformers One where scenes would be mixed in with Ratchet's speech about Optimus Prime's origins in the TV show Transformers prime. It has reached a whopping 18,000 views on Youtube with 704 likes. I still continue to make these edits just to keep my editing skills up to date.
Achievements and goals in university
Throughout my life within the film production course I was able to improve on my filmmaking skills, as well as try and experiment with other roles that are completely new to me. One of my achievements that I'm proud of is that I managed to be certified on the ARRI Alexa mini LF, a camera that is commonly used within the film industry as the basic standard camera and the same camera we used for the graduate film Christmas Cards. Another feature I'm proud of achieving is learning about leadership. Being a leader has taught me that it's important that team briefing's happen on set and I was able to check on gaffers and camera operators to make sure that they know what they were doing.
My goals within university was to simply work in the film industry by any means possible. Overtime I've developed a passion for working behind the scenes as trying out as a producer to make sure the cast and crew get all the necessary information through call sheets. This was mostly done in my solo films where i would get my friends from Slough to help out and act in it. After university, my future goals will be to continue making short films but make them more ambitious and more professional with a reasonable budget. I learnt that my strengths rely on keeping the production organised and actively communicate with my crew. But there is still room for improvement I can learn about.
